Ben is our Managing Director and is also a CBT and EMDR psychotherapist and mental health nurse with experience working with complex presentations. He has managed services providing care to over 33,000 individual clients per year. Ben has designed training programs and specialist clinical services for specific groups.

Jen is a CBT psychotherapist with almost 20 years’ experience working clinically across the East Midlands. She is trained in EMDR to work with trauma. Previously Jen has been in senior roles in both the NHS and in private health services, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of clinically excellent therapeutic services.

Pete is our Clinical Director and is a mental health nurse and CBT therapist by background. Pete trained at The Institute of Psychiatry and has been a pioneer of service design, having undertaken several government pilots in mental health service provision. Pete has written post graduate training programs and worked as a Department of Health Mental Health Consultant.

Rose is a CBT and EMDR psychotherapist who originally trained as a social worker, supporting families where a parent or child was experiencing mental health difficulties. Rose then worked at CAMHS, completing her CBT and EMDR training whilst working with a variety of young people and their families. She has completed additional training in working with clients with ADHD and ASD. Rose has recent experience of working with families experiencing significant birth trauma and loss.

Mel is a CBT psychotherapist with a professional background with adults, children and young people, having provided CBT across a range of settings. She has worked in specialist eating disorder services, with those with a diagnosis of personal disorder and with intellectual disabilities. Mel is a skilled practitioner, also with a background in leadership and supervision.

Donna is an integrative psychotherapist with 20 years clinical experience within the NHS and Children’s Social Care. Donna provided trauma treatment within the Centre for Trauma, Resilience and Growth and became an Honorary assistant professor at the University of Nottingham within the Institute of Mental Health.  In 2021 Donna wrote the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Trauma Informed Strategy which is now being implemented across public and voluntary sector organisations.  Donna is additionally trained in Trauma Focused CBT and EMDR.

Kathryn is a CBT psychotherapist with a background in both health and education settings, working with all ages, from children to adolescents and adults. She has previously been involved in NHS Talking Therapy design and leadership, alongside responsibilities for adult and child safeguarding. More recently she has experience working in a specialist service supporting families who have experienced significant birth trauma.

Kezia is a CBT Therapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 10 years of experience working in the field of mental health. Much of Kezia’s clinical experience is with young people and adults aged between 14-65. Kezia has a clinical background based in Early Intervention in Psychosis Services, Community Mental Health Teams, inpatient services and IAPT. Kezia has a special skillset working with women experiencing mental health difficulties including disordered eating, OCD, perinatal presentations and low self esteem. Kezia has undertaken additional training in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioural Family Therapy (BFT), and EMDR.

Fabienne is a registered Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Occupational Therapist with experience of working with children and young people in a paediatric service (developmental co-ordination disorder, neurodiversity) in the CAMHS and the Mental Health Support Team (MHST). Fabienne has also experience of working with adults and elderly people with physical, neurological, and mental health difficulties to promote function in activities of daily living and wellbeing. Fabienne has completed additional training in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), the highly sensitive person, bereavement, and self-compassion.

She is responsible for all initial engagement with clients, and our partners. Kelly is a CBT and EMDR psychotherapist, trained in standard protocol EMDR and attachment focused EMDR. Kelly has also worked in the substance misuse field for many years prior to training as a therapist, both within the community and prisons. She has a background in leadership and supervision within children’s mental health services. Prior to starting with The Condition Management Company she was working in a specialist service with clients that had a diagnosis of a Functional Neurological Disorder and is very experienced within this field. Kelly has recent experience of working with families experiencing significant birth trauma and loss.

Rachel is a CBT and Integrative Psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience working as a clinician within Nottinghamshire for the NHS, third sector organisations and businesses. She is also a Relate trained relationship therapist, psychosexual therapist and a Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy teacher. Rachel has managed an NHS staff counselling team within an occupational health department and has provided training for health professionals and clinicians for many years.

Rachel has worked as a Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University Psychology Department, teaching on undergraduate and post graduate courses. She is currently training as an EMDR therapist and will qualify in early 2025. As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, she particularly enjoys working with neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients.

Zoe is an experienced Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, working with a broad range of clients across Nottingham. She has experience working in the field of sexual violence and trauma, supporting survivors and those around them. This lead her to develop her passion and skill for supporting those who have experienced trauma. Zoe is also involved in developing mental health training. In her Wellbeing Navigator role she supports families who have experienced birth trauma and loss. She is now undertaking her CBT training to develop her skills.
